Choosing uniforms for doctors and nurses
Start with your clinic’s requirements
Check your workplace dress requirements before choosing medical clothing. Some teams need a top-and-trouser set, while others wear a coat over everyday clothing. Consider department colour rules, staff duties and comfort together.
Size and movement
Compare tops using shoulder and chest measurements, and trousers using waist, hip and length measurements. Check the fit when bending and raising your arms. A unisex label does not mean an identical fit for every wearer; consult the model’s cut and size guide.
Pockets and care labels
Check pocket placement and depth for the items used during a shift, without overloading them. Follow the garment label for washing, drying and ironing, alongside workplace clothing procedures. Ordinary medical uniforms do not replace specialist protective equipment.
Planning a clinic order
Prepare one list of staff measurements, quantities and colours. Record logo and name embroidery requirements separately. Ask Modamer about fabric composition, available sizes and production timing for your chosen model before finalising the order.
